Christian Håkansson made in the 13th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FA Sandtown's Sylwester Tamulewicz. Feliks Lodowy made in the 15th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Mateusz Madej. Olgierd Hodas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Åke Fors showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. Feliks Lodowy hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute, Åke Fors ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olgierd Hodas was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Olgierd Hodas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Åke Fors showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 30 minute of play. Håkan Söderberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateusz Madej in the 34th minute of play. Degerfors IF's Philip Kihlman got his second yellow card of the match in the 35th minute. The referee ordered Philip Kihlman off the ground. The supporters of FA Sandtown booed when Degerfors IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Håkan Söderberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Károly Tolnay in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Károly Tolnay was the one to do the kick off. In the 60th match minute, FA Sandtown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Janusz Wawak to maneuver through the defense.
