In the 3rd minute, Paulopolis's Osmar Falcão seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Osmar Falcão the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Paulopolis protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Osmar Falcão had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 2 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Paulopolis! Hakim Frémont had in the 5thth minute some difficulties stopping Luís Guerra's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 18th match minute, Paulopolis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egídio Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute Paulopolis were awarded a corner. Marcel Vieira went to the cornerflag to take it. Marcel Vieira made a great header on Paulopolis's corner, it was just that Condors F.C.'s Zézinho Mineiro managed to reach the ball for a save. Condors F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Guerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Serginho Massa charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Serginho Massa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd play minute Cícero Rodrigues came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Hakim Frémont. 0-2. Hakim Frémont took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Víktor Sampaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, Cícero Rodrigues left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Condors F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. When the match was over Condors F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Paulopolis throughout the match.
