After 3 played minutes Sipo EC got a freekick which was hit by Dráusio Costa. Di Bin Zhen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Napoleón 2018's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bonifacio Santalla in the 10th minute. Bonifacio Santalla made a great header on Napoleón 2018's corner, it was just that Sipo EC's Carroll Hathaway managed to reach the ball for a save. If Elói Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carroll Hathaway made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Johans in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Saturnino Johans cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Carroll Hathaway was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Carroll Hathaway came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Napoleón 2018's Saturnino Johans. But to his dismay, Saturnino Johans quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 27th minute, Ni Chuan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carroll Hathaway took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Di Bin Zhen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Oséias Gerber took the ball and in the 50 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Urbano Faro. Urbano Faro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Di Bin Zhen struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Carroll Hathaway didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Napoleón 2018. After some careless play in the Sipo EC defense, Saturnino Johans kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carroll Hathaway. The Sipo EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carroll Hathaway should have stopped the shot. In the 62nd minute Oséias Gerber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbano Faro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Napoleón 2018 getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Gregorio Garoa hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Di Bin Zhen in the 74th minute of play forced Sipo EC's goalkeeper Carroll Hathaway to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Sipo EC's Carroll Hathaway got control of the ball when Saturnino Johans tried to sneak it across the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Sipo EC's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Alzamendi came free, but Carroll Hathaway reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Alberto Passos in the 88th minute of play forced Napoleón 2018's goalkeeper Urbano Faro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Noel Velloso kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Napoleón 2018's Lisandro Lain was substituted for Esteve Argina. Noel Velloso hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
