Spectators: 166 (Terracing: 125, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Pascal Lutz made the kick off which started today's match. Pascal Lutz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Firmin having to interfere. In the 5th minute Jose Field shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Firmin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Preston Esposito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Pedro Freitas in the 9th minute of play. Pascal Lutz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 16th minute, José Pedro Freitas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Miraflores fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Pascal Lutz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Firmin having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Miraflores's zone, Pascal Lutz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Firmin came out of the goal and Pascal Lutz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonardo Firmin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lawrence Eckert in the 23rd minute of the match. Danilo Quexal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Preston Esposito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Lawrence Eckert came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lawrence Eckert couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Miraflores's Danilo Quexal got a free kick in the 28th minute. Leonardo Firmin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lawrence Eckert in the 29th minute of play. A collision led to DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Federico Lassiter hit a great ball. Preston Esposito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Pedro Freitas, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Aquilino Maura hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Lawrence Eckert managed to get in a good position for a shot. DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's supporters rose to their feet, but Lawrence Eckert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonardo Firmin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO booed when Miraflores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Sidro didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Mariano Sidro made the kick off in the second half. If Lawrence Eckert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute of the match, Lawrence Eckert tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Leonardo Firmin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Pascal Lutzs short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Leonardo Firmin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pascal Lutz got free with Leonardo Firmin in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The long shot by Darnell Elias in the 68th minute really tested Leonardo Firmin's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Pascal Lutz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the match, DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Poncio came free, but Preston Esposito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO defense, José Pedro Freitas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Preston Esposito. The DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Preston Esposito should have stopped the shot. Darnell Elias hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Santo Hibai was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 78th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Pascal Sheldon's late challenge caught a Miraflores's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pascal Sheldon helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Sidro in the 91st minute of play forced DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's goalkeeper Preston Esposito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Pascal Sheldon was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 97 minutes had been played. Pascal Sheldon kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Geronimo Gonchan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
