Jesper Tomasson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 31st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Emiliano Tohias. Dennis Jacobsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Nesor having to interfere. When Hjalmar Mattsson fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Golden Lions FC's protests and gave Hjalmar Mattsson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Atletic Elooo booed when Golden Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hjalmar Mattsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adrian Niva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Jesper Tomasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Santo Eudoxio fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletic Elooo's protests and gave Santo Eudoxio a yellow card for diving instead. Santo Eudoxio hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonel Oinaz to make the kick off. Jan-Erik Lind hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute of the match, Dennis Jacobsson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mauricio Nesor saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 62nd minute, Natalio Remigio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 68 minutes into the game, Golden Lions FC's Axel Samuelsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mauricio Nesor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Thanks to some nice moves Alex Nordström could shoot a difficult shot in the 82nd minute, which Mauricio Nesor however easily saved by the left post. 85 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Oinaz came free, but Jesper Tomasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 88 minutes, Dennis Jacobsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golden Lions FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dennis Jacobsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 90 minutes into the game, Alex Nordström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2.
