The corner ended in Gregorio Tanio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Golden Lions FC's Jesper Tomasson did a great save. In the 12thth minute of the game Desiderio Florin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Golden Lions FC's Jesper Tomasson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jens-Ola Strömbom received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cipriano Cugat came out and tried to block the shot, but Jens-Ola Strömbom slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 17th minute. Baraja Española FC's Baltasar Edorta got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baraja Española FC's Cipriano Cugat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Baraja Española FC from getting a goal against them. Jesper Tomasson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mauro Matos's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. A collision led to Golden Lions FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Dennis Jacobsson hit a great ball. In the 39th minute Gregorio Tanio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesper Tomasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Golden Lions FC booed when Baraja Española FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregorio Tanio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Axel Samuelsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cipriano Cugat. Baraja Española FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Tanio came free, but Jesper Tomasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carolus Rex kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Cecilio Haimar kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. In the 48th minute of the match Axel Samuelsson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cipriano Cugat showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

Maria Jacobsson kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After 53 minutes, Maria Jacobsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Golden Lions FC and the Baraja Española FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Baraja Española FC made a substitution. Osvaldo Ranolfo replaced Roberto Nazario. After 55 played minutes Golden Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by Maria Jacobsson. Cipriano Cugat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Nordström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the game, Nils-Erik Gustafsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nils-Erik Gustafsson kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Baraja Española FC's Inocencio Rayman got a free kick in the 64th minute. Gregorio Tanio charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gregorio Tanio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Golden Lions FC made a substitution. Jan-Erik Lind replaced Leif Västlund. Cipriano Cugat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maria Jacobsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Baraja Española FC's Cipriano Cugat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Nordström in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Mauro Matos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Golden Lions FC's Maria Jacobsson got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Carlos Garcia fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Baraja Española FC's protests and gave Carlos Garcia a yellow card for diving instead. After 91 played minutes Baraja Española FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Garcia. Golden Lions FC's Axel Samuelsson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Baraja Española FC. Carolus Rex hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. If Mauro Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Golden Lions FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
