But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernd Goldsche couldn't finish the play. In the 10th minute, Bernd Goldsche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Passa o Tanque MZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Davi Cerezo in the 16th minute. Passa o Tanque MZ's Davi Cerezo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Richard Textex in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Richard Textex showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldinho Teixeira in the 17th minute of the match. With a little luck, Newpi Academy's Richard Textex got control of the ball when Gilmar Torres tried to sneak it across the goal line. Newpi Academy's Richard Textex played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernd Goldsche in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of Newpi Academy booed when Passa o Tanque MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdo de Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Passa o Tanque MZ's zone, Victoriano Burutzagi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diamantino Magalhães came out of the goal and Victoriano Burutzagi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leopoldo Erlantz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Diamantino Magalhães having to make a save. After 30 played minutes Newpi Academy got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Asur. Diamantino Magalhães stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgard Quintun's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Richard Textex showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldinho Teixeira in the 40th minute of the match. After having played for 43 minutes, Ronaldinho Teixeira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Passa o Tanque MZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldinho Teixeira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Newpi Academy's Richard Textex got control of the ball when Ronaldinho Teixeira tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgard Quintun to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Newpi Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Bernd Goldsche came free, but Richard Textex reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diamantino Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Quintun, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Arí Pitta took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Richard Textex. Newpi Academy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Newpi Academy's Fernando Asur got a free kick in the 59th minute. Richard Textex stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronaldinho Teixeira's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute, Fernando Asur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Richard Textex showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilmar Torres in the 66th minute of the match. Leopoldo Erlantz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Diamantino Magalhães made a huge save. After some careless play in the Newpi Academy defense, Ronaldinho Teixeira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Richard Textex. The Newpi Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Richard Textex should have stopped the shot. 78 minutes into the match, Passa o Tanque MZ's Bernd Goldsche sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Richard Textex narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Newpi Academy's Richard Textex played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldinho Teixeira in the 82nd minute of play. After 85 played minutes Newpi Academy got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Santiago. When Gilmar Torres came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Passa o Tanque MZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilmar Torres couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maximino Eguerdi during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd minute, Bernd Goldsche got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Newpi Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Bernd Goldsche came free, but Richard Textex reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
