Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ronaldo Pirani kicked off to start the match. When Christiano Palmeira fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palestra do Interior's protests and gave Christiano Palmeira a yellow card for diving instead. 7 minutes into the game, Mihail Albu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Antônio Carlos Cavalcante. Mihail Albu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 9th minute, Nelsinho Marinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mădălin Botgros kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Ilie Crainic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelsinho Marinho in the 20th minute of play. Antônio Carlos Cavalcante was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Radu Pânzaru. After a rather tough play, BlueLionesse's Sebastian Mailat got a free kick in the 31st minute. The supporters of BlueLionesse booed when Palestra do Interior was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulysses Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Palestra do Interior's Delfim Quintal seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Delfim Quintal the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Palestra do Interior protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Delfim Quintal had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Palestra do Interior fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 47 minutes, BlueLionesse's Cristinel Nicodim got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Antônio Carlos Cavalcante. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristinel Nicodim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mihail Albu scored 4-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antônio Carlos Cavalcante, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 57 minutes, Cristinel Nicodim made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Palestra do Interior's Antônio Carlos Cavalcante tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Nelsinho Marinho fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Antônio Carlos Cavalcante made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. 71 minutes into the match, Palestra do Interior's goal looked a bit too open when Octavian Isărescu came free, but Antônio Carlos Cavalcante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Palestra do Interior's Leonel Marinho got a free kick in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the game, BlueLionesse's Mihail Albu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antônio Carlos Cavalcante made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. BlueLionesse's Kasım Onuktekin was substituted for Octavian Isărescu. After having played for 81 minutes, Mădălin Botgros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BlueLionesse's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mădălin Botgros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mihail Albu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Antônio Carlos Cavalcante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antônio Carlos Cavalcante came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by BlueLionesse's Sebastian Mailat. But to his dismay, Sebastian Mailat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Leonel Marinho hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Matthew Tielve kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. BlueLionesse fully deserved thier win.
