In the 3rd minute, Nicasio Vargas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leopoldo Hulberto. The goal made the score 1-0. Ovidio Haimar charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ovidio Haimar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leopoldo Hulberto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicasio Vargas went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Rosario Central booed when Papato Tatengue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicasio Vargas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Papato Tatengue's Nicasio Vargas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leopoldo Hulberto. Leopoldo Hulberto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. 20 minutes into the match, Grant Verga dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Leopoldo Hulberto, 4-0. In the 25th minute, Sebastian Lawrence got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 33rd match minute, Rosario Central was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Haimar to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Papato Tatengue's Nicasio Vargas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 7-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Papato Tatengue's Nicasio Vargas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leopoldo Hulberto. That made the score 8-0 after 38 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 8-0.

The wind increased when Felipe Gilesindo made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Nicasio Vargas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Leopoldo Hulberto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 58th minute Nicasio Vargas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Hulberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicasio Vargas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leopoldo Hulberto having to make a save. Nicasio Vargas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Leopoldo Hulberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicasio Vargas in the 64th minute of play forced Rosario Central's goalkeeper Leopoldo Hulberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute Nicasio Vargas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Hulberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicasio Vargas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Hulberto having to interfere. In the 71st minute Nicasio Vargas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Hulberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 72 played minutes Rosario Central got a freekick which was hit by Ovidio Haimar. When Alonzo Jurdan came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Rosario Central fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alonzo Jurdan couldn't finish the play. After 79 played minutes, Papato Tatengue's Rogelio Enmanuel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leopoldo Hulberto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Papato Tatengue reached it. Leopoldo Hulberto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicasio Vargas's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. If Nicasio Vargas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Papato Tatengue's Nicasio Vargas in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rosario Central's goalie prevented a goal.
