Pedro Paulo Mendonça lost his temper 6 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 5th minute, one of Flu Lawyers Soccer Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Flu Lawyers Soccer Club. In the 14th minute, Nicasio Vargas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Papato Tatengue fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicasio Vargas got free with Pedro da Rocha in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Nicasio Vargas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pedro da Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicasio Vargas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicasio Vargas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro da Rocha having to make a save. After 34 played minutes Papato Tatengue got a freekick which was hit by Facundo Corti. 36 minutes into the game, Rogelio Enmanuel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Papato Tatengue's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flu Lawyers Soccer Club the free kick. Rogelio Enmanuel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Pedro da Rocha made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicasio Vargas in the 39th minute of play forced Flu Lawyers Soccer Club's goalkeeper Pedro da Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicasio Vargas might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro da Rocha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicasio Vargas ran back to his position shaking his head. Nicasio Vargas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Pedro da Rocha made a huge save. Flu Lawyers Soccer Club's Pedro da Rocha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Flu Lawyers Soccer Club from getting a goal against them. Papato Tatengue's Nicasio Vargas got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicasio Vargas to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicasio Vargas in the 51st minute of play forced Flu Lawyers Soccer Club's goalkeeper Pedro da Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicasio Vargas might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro da Rocha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicasio Vargas ran back to his position shaking his head. Pedro da Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicasio Vargas in the 52nd minute of the match. Pedro da Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicasio Vargas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute Nicasio Vargas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro da Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicasio Vargas struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Pedro da Rocha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Papato Tatengue. Pedro da Rocha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicasio Vargas's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Nicasio Vargas notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Flu Lawyers Soccer Club's Pedro da Rocha. Pedro da Rocha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Nicasio Vargas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pedro da Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Vargas in the 75th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Papato Tatengue's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Favoretto came free, but Emiliano Dimo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Nicasio Vargas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro da Rocha. Flu Lawyers Soccer Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicasio Vargas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. If Sebastian Lawrence had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute of the match Sebastian Lawrence shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro da Rocha showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Papato Tatengue's Nicasio Vargas got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Nicasio Vargas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Papato Tatengue had played much better football throughout.
