Hubert Kalinin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xu Li Sang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Chico de Sousa sped through JK raamatuid.ee's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hubert Kalinin. In the 14th minute, Chico de Sousa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hubert Kalinin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Jovens Democratas MZC's Dobromir Zagrodny got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Dobromir Zagrodny came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Jovens Democratas MZC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dobromir Zagrodny couldn't finish the play. Dalmo Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Villem in the 23rd minute of play. JK raamatuid.ee's Hubert Kalinin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chico de Sousa in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Jovens Democratas MZC's Chico de Sousa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hubert Kalinin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of JK raamatuid.ee booed when Jovens Democratas MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laerte Bittencourt didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Xu Li Sang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Chico de Sousa made a precise shot to the right of Hubert Kalinin. JK raamatuid.ee's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 43rd minute David Puyol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hubert Kalinin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Jovens Democratas MZC's Chico de Sousa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juhan Allikvee hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Dobromir Zagrodny could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Hubert Kalinin made a huge save. When Wayne Valdez fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JK raamatuid.ee's protests and gave Wayne Valdez a yellow card for diving instead. After 88 played minutes JK raamatuid.ee got a freekick which was hit by Wayne Valdez. Lúcio Cruz struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Hubert Kalinin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jovens Democratas MZC.
