In the 3rdth minute of the game Davi Alexandridis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Misericordia EC's Wágner Ribeiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Davi Alexandridis in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wágner Ribeiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luiz Paulo Ferraz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Weverton Pras when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Weverton Pras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Paulo Ferraz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Misericordia EC's Zico Matamoros got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11thth minute of the game Davi Alexandridis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Misericordia EC's Wágner Ribeiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 17th minute Soni Féron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wágner Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Paulo Ferraz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Weverton Pras when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 45 minutes into the game, Luiz Paulo Ferraz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Weverton Pras. Luiz Paulo Ferraz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0.

Davi Alexandridis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Wágner Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ian Brasil kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Bob Chute's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Weverton Pras read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Leon Sport Club's Ian Queirós sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wágner Ribeiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Leon Sport Club getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Dagoberto Severo hit a great ball. Weverton Pras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Paulo Ferraz, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After 76 played minutes Leon Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Dagoberto Severo. 80 minutes into the match, Ian Queirós dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Wágner Ribeiro, 2-1. 83 minutes into the match, Leon Sport Club's goal looked a bit too open when Bob Chute came free, but Weverton Pras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute of the match Misericordia EC got a corner. Leon Sport Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bob Dinamite ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Leon Sport Club booed when Misericordia EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Eduardo Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bob Dinamite in the 96th minute of play forced Leon Sport Club's goalkeeper Weverton Pras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Misericordia EC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Leon Sport Club for a fine match.
