Valério Peres received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Manuel Moya came out and tried to block the shot, but Valério Peres slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 16th minute. If Luiz Paulo Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute Bob Dinamite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Moya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wágner Ribeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joseba Sacristán, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yasin Saleh in the 24th minute of play forced Misericordia EC's goalkeeper Wágner Ribeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 minutes, Luís Eduardo Amaral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Misericordia EC and the Plaza Babys CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wágner Ribeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aparicio Ladra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Luiz Paulo Ferraz made the kick off in the second half. Yasin Saleh took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wágner Ribeiro. Wágner Ribeiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Luís Eduardo Amaral made in the 58th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Luiz Paulo Ferraz however managed to control. 66 minutes into the game, Yasin Saleh recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wágner Ribeiro. Yasin Saleh showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Plaza Babys CF's Jeremias Izaguirre was substituted for Joseba Sacristán. Plaza Babys CF made a substitution. Eric Heredia replaced Eriberto Ferraz. The audience was convinced that Bo Kristiansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wágner Ribeiro was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. The supporters of Plaza Babys CF booed when Misericordia EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ian Brasil didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Bo Kristiansson notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Misericordia EC's Wágner Ribeiro. Wágner Ribeiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Manuel Moya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Paulo Ferraz in the 86th minute of play. After 90 minutes of play, Plaza Babys CF's Bo Kristiansson made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wágner Ribeiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bo Kristiansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Wágner Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Plaza Babys CF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
