In the 9th minute Damian Rito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Vennerström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, Woopbongo's Lars Vik dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, Alvarado de Mar del Plata's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Vik came free, but Rodolfo Mark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Woopbongo's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Sabin came free, but Marcus Vennerström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lars Vik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rodolfo Mark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Vik in the 24th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Damian Rito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Vennerström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Lars Vik kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rodolfo Mark. That made the score 2-0 in the 31 minute of play. Lars Vik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th minute Isidoro Marcones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Vennerström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Alvarado de Mar del Plata booed when Woopbongo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Vik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodolfo Mark took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Vik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodolfo Mark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Vik, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

In the 51st minute, Josef Hellbom made a precise shot to the right of Rodolfo Mark. Alvarado de Mar del Plata's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 53 minutes into the match, Alvarado de Mar del Plata's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Vik came free, but Rodolfo Mark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvarado de Mar del Plata's Rodolfo Mark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Vik in the 62nd minute of play. Rodolfo Mark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josef Hellbom in the 68th minute of play. After 72 played minutes Alvarado de Mar del Plata got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Isadore. Marcus Vennerström made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Isidoro Marcones sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lázaro Carlomagno during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 76 minutes into the game, one of Alvarado de Mar del Plata:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Woopbongo's Lars Vik got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Modesto Isadore made in the 92nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Timoteo Sancho immediately put the ball in play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stig Rydelius during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alvarado de Mar del Plata's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Woopbongo had won, even though Alvarado de Mar del Plata had held more of the ball.
