Lucas Backman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Perico Pérez having to make a save. Lucas Backman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Perico Pérez made a huge save. A hard shot 13 in the game by Lucas Backman from a close distance when the talented Perico Pérez managed to make a qualified save. Esteco's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Ermindo-Ángel Onega managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esteco's supporters rose to their feet, but Ermindo-Ángel Onega was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egil Åkerman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in North Pole Kickers's zone, Florencio Herensuge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egil Åkerman came out of the goal and Florencio Herensuge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucas Backman in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Perico Pérez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Lucas Backman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claes Snow kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. When Kristoffer Engström fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored North Pole Kickers's protests and gave Kristoffer Engström a yellow card for diving instead. After 36 played minutes North Pole Kickers got a freekick which was hit by Kristoffer Engström. Esteco's Pablo Solari suffered a sore foot after 38 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iosif Golescu during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Esteco's Horacio Roderigo was substituted for Pablo Solari. Iosif Golescu kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute of the match Silvano Iraitz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Egil Åkerman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Egil Åkerman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Laurentzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The audience was convinced that Valdemar Tomasson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Perico Pérez was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Florentino Koldobika hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Esteco's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pere Noel was slow to take the kick. During this time North Pole Kickers's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to North Pole Kickers's Claes Snow getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Lucas Backman might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Perico Pérez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lucas Backman ran back to his position shaking his head. North Pole Kickers's Egil Åkerman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermindo-Ángel Onega in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Herensuge in the 73rd minute of play forced North Pole Kickers's goalkeeper Egil Åkerman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute, Ermindo-Ángel Onega ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Egil Åkerman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Abel Laurentzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Esteco's Perico Pérez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Backman in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Backman in the 88th minute of play forced Esteco's goalkeeper Perico Pérez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When North Pole Kickers's Lucas Backman in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Esteco's goalie prevented a goal. Iwo Jaszyna kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Esteco were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
