Isaac Grimaud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Alströmmer having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Leopard Brööö's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Mangion came free, but Viktor Alströmmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Savona struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Viktor Alströmmer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sliema Dragons FC. In the 36th minute Fabian Borg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Alströmmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Julian Savona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Viktor Alströmmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Mangion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Leopard Brööö players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sliema Dragons FC were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martin Mangion made a kick off. A hard shot 52 in the game by Isaac Grimaud from a close distance when the talented Viktor Alströmmer managed to make a qualified save. Leopard Brööö's players were relieved. Viktor Alströmmer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isaac Grimaud in the 53rd minute. Viktor Alströmmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Savona in the 60th minute of play. With his leg Viktor Alströmmer managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Sliema Dragons FC's Martin Mangion fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Leopard Brööö's Viktor Alströmmer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Leopard Brööö from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sliema Dragons FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
