Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 13 minutes into the match, FC Old Dogs United's goal looked a bit too open when Anestis Bakogiannis came free, but Nikolay Ikonomov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Tinko Lachev reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kleanthis Koumentakis. The goal made the score 1-0. Preslav Alyakov charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Preslav Alyakov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th minute, one of FC Old Dogs United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Old Dogs United. The referee gave Panthiseiakos a penalty, 20 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fragiskos Skrekis, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Old Dogs United's Nikolay Ikonomov. 1-1. FC Old Dogs United were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Panthiseiakos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Paun Zankov took the corner. After taking down the ball on FC Old Dogs United's corner Paun Zankov fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kleanthis Koumentakis quite easily take care of the ball. After 27 played minutes Bertil Jonsson rounded Panthiseiakos's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. In the 33rd minute, Fragiskos Skrekis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anestis Bakogiannis during the 37th minute. Kleanthis Koumentakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Violet Skachkov in the 43rd minute of the match. Kleanthis Koumentakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Violet Skachkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bertil Jonsson to make the kick off. Tinko Lachev scored 3-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kleanthis Koumentakis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 57 minutes into the game, Tinko Lachev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Kleanthis Koumentakis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Old Dogs United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Paun Zankov in the 61st minute. After having played for 63 minutes, Paun Zankov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paun Zankov in the 64th minute of play forced Panthiseiakos's goalkeeper Kleanthis Koumentakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Panthiseiakos's goal looked a bit too open when Bertil Jonsson came free, but Kleanthis Koumentakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kleanthis Koumentakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tinko Lachev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kleanthis Koumentakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Violet Skachkov in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute Bertil Jonsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kleanthis Koumentakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bertil Jonsson in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kleanthis Koumentakis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kleanthis Koumentakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tinko Lachev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Violet Skachkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stamatis Tennes was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 94 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute, one of Panthiseiakos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Panthiseiakos. 96 minutes into the match, Paun Zankov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kleanthis Koumentakis. Panthiseiakos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paun Zankov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Old Dogs United had won after a very even match.
