After 19 minutes, Gustave Andriesens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting Mambo and the NoWayOut players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sporting Mambo's Gustave Andriesens got a free kick in the 19th minute. Waut Goons showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berke Pekant, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Alemdar Yertan charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alemdar Yertan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alemdar Yertan hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. With a little luck, NoWayOut's Saruhan Geylan got control of the ball when Harold Engelborgh tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 32nd minute Glen de Pelsmaecker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saruhan Geylan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes into the match, NoWayOut's goal looked a bit too open when Thys Van Bockorst came free, but Saruhan Geylan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saruhan Geylan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thys Van Bockorst, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Saruhan Geylan was a little too slow when Hans Van Der Meren got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 2-0. Thys Van Bockorst recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Harold Engelborgh to strike the kick off in the second half. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sporting Mambo fully deserved thier win.
