Ruy Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruy Oliveira was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and César da Rocha capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. César da Rocha really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Ruy Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from César da Rocha in the 14th minute of play. Guilherme Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Allan de Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur do Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruy Oliveira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maurinho Vergílio in the 21st minute. Allan de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur do Nascimento in the 22nd minute of play. Ruy Oliveira stood somewhat misplaced when César da Rocha came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 25 minute. After 33 played minutes Inter de Melão got a freekick which was hit by Acácio Pernambucano. Inter de Melão's Allan de Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur do Nascimento in the 35th minute of play. Ruy Oliveira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but César da Rocha showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 36 minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Papunhas EC's goalkeeper Ruy Oliveira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by César da Rocha. After a defensive mix-up in Inter de Melão's zone, Frédson Rosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Allan de Almeida came out of the goal and Frédson Rosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Allan de Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artur do Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

59 minutes into the game, Maurinho Vergílio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Ruy Oliveira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. César da Rocha took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruy Oliveira. Ruy Oliveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. When Frédson Rosa came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Papunhas EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frédson Rosa couldn't finish the play. Papunhas EC's Ruy Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by César da Rocha in the 72nd minute of play. Allan de Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur do Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 80 minutes, Guilherme Moraes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Papunhas EC and the Inter de Melão players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 80 played minutes Papunhas EC got a freekick which was hit by Guilherme Moraes. Ruy Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Farias in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute of the match Inter de Melão got a corner. Papunhas EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luiz Fabiano Novaes ran over to the corner to take the kick. Luiz Fabiano Novaes made a great header on Inter de Melão's corner, it was just that Papunhas EC's Ruy Oliveira managed to reach the ball for a save. 87 minutes into the match, César da Rocha notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Papunhas EC's Ruy Oliveira. Ruy Oliveira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 94th minute Maurinho Vergílio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruy Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Inter de Melão fully deserved thier win.
