An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Imperatore in the 22nd minute of play forced Atlético Minuano's goalkeeper Marcelo Linares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kuddusî Müftüoğlu charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. But to his dismay, Adriano Imperatore quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Mastur Bateman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th minute, Duda Soares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelo Linares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano Imperatore in the 38th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Atlético Minuano's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Imperatore came free, but Marcelo Linares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 51st minute Kyriakos Lyberopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. INTERISTAS were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Atlético Minuano's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Theofilos Karypidis took the corner. The crowd rose to their feet as INTERISTAS's Mastur Bateman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcelo Linares. That made the score 1-7 after 60 minutes of play. Adriano Imperatore struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Marcelo Linares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INTERISTAS. The crowd rose to their feet as INTERISTAS's Mastur Bateman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcelo Linares. That made the score 1-8 after 65 minutes of play. Atlético Minuano's Marcelo Linares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mastur Bateman in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st match minute, INTERISTAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos to maneuver through the defense. Marcelo Linares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mastur Bateman in the 73rd minute of play. In the 76th minute Lauro Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ntinos Balouris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Kyriakos Lyberopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd match minute, INTERISTAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Imperatore to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Atlético Minuano's Marcelo Linares got control of the ball when Adriano Imperatore tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 88th minute, Adriano Imperatore left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The INTERISTAS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-10. Theofilos Karypidis came free with the goalkeeper in the 92nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcelo Linares could save by the left post. Marcelo Linares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adriano Imperatore went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-11 was the resulting score.
