When Iwan Wierzbicki fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DOJLIDY's protests and gave Iwan Wierzbicki a yellow card for diving instead. Iwan Wierzbicki kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. DOJLIDY's Wladyslaw Makomaski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save DOJLIDY from getting a goal against them. Jorge Vicente Lopes Maciel struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Wladyslaw Makomaski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for R.B Leipzig. 16 minutes into the game, Jorge Vicente Lopes Maciel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wladyslaw Makomaski. Jorge Vicente Lopes Maciel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grzegorz Gumaro in the 20th minute of play forced R.B Leipzig's goalkeeper Marek Žilák to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute Wiktor Piechna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marek Žilák saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mikolaj Falkowski took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marek Žilák. Marek Žilák dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Fausto Bucesta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 26th minute, Jorge Vicente Lopes Maciel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The R.B Leipzig fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiktor Piechna in the 30th minute of play forced R.B Leipzig's goalkeeper Marek Žilák to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fausto Bucesta made a kick off. Marek Žilák showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grzegorz Gumaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Vicente Lopes Maciel in the 71st minute of play forced DOJLIDY's goalkeeper Wladyslaw Makomaski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75thth minute of the game Jorge Vicente Lopes Maciel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DOJLIDY's Wladyslaw Makomaski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wiktor Piechna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marek Žilák having to interfere. Fausto Tomasso kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Mikolaj Falkowski could shoot a difficult shot in the 86th minute, which Marek Žilák however easily saved by the left post. Iwan Wierzbicki made in the 88th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by R.B Leipzig's Fausto Tomasso. Jorge Vicente Lopes Maciel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fausto Bucesta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wladyslaw Makomaski having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, R.B Leipzig's goalkeeper Marek Žilák had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mikolaj Falkowski. R.B Leipzig succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though DOJLIDY had controlled the match.
