When Genaro Quesada fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AlmaToran's protests and gave Genaro Quesada a yellow card for diving instead. After 18 played minutes AlmaToran got a freekick which was hit by Genaro Quesada. In the 18th minute of the match Luís Guilherme Salgado sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fortun Mostoles skillfully saved the ball. 20 minutes into the match, AlmaToran's goal looked a bit too open when Enio Mangueira came free, but Fortun Mostoles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristiano Senna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Galo Granell came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the AlmaToran fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Galo Granell couldn't finish the play. Fortun Mostoles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Senna in the 34th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, AlmaToran's Sol Aries got a free kick in the 36th minute. Fortun Mostoles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enio Mangueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atarrabi Emesabel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Luan Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Atarrabi Emesabel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 63 played minutes Jardim América FC got a freekick which was hit by Aníbal Abraão. A sloppy throw-in by Wágner Urbano in the 66th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by AlmaToran's Venceslas Soler. The supporters of Jardim América FC booed when AlmaToran was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Galo Granell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jardim América FC's Luan Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atarrabi Emesabel in the 72nd minute of play. If Sol Aries had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the match, Jardim América FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sol Aries came free, but Luan Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristiano Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Luan Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atarrabi Emesabel in the 87th minute of the match. If Atarrabi Emesabel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 92nd minute Cristiano Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortun Mostoles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Senna in the 95th minute of play forced AlmaToran's goalkeeper Fortun Mostoles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
