In the 20th match minute, ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Dino to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Otakar Šuráň made a precise shot to the right of Faustino Horado. ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Faustino Horado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lubomír Forman in the 39th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's goal looked a bit too open when Lubomír Forman came free, but Faustino Horado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonathan Quin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Josef Gál hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the match, Jonathan Quin notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of FC Chorchoj's Jaroslav Mlejnek. In the 83rd minute, Jonathan Quin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. Jaroslav Mlejnek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Quin in the 86th minute of play. When Michal Mikeska fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Chorchoj's protests and gave Michal Mikeska a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Chorchoj had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
