The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Danilo Derwin during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a little luck, Corralito AFC's Amadeo Txindoki got control of the ball when Tris Hedges tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Prospero Matia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tim Johnstone was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. In the 11th minute Prospero Matia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Johnstone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tim Johnstone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prospero Matia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amadeo Txindoki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Phil Clarke in the 25th minute of the match. Gavino Cloyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Prospero Matia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tim Johnstone having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Camron Collier made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, The Tigers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phil Clarke to maneuver through the defense. Tris Hedges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Amadeo Txindoki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaspar Bernebe hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Rio Blewitt struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Amadeo Txindoki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Tigers. In the 63rd minute, Gerardo Sagrario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amadeo Txindoki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camron Collier in the 67th minute of the match. Amadeo Txindoki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Phil Clarke went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Tris Hedges kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, The Tigers's goalkeeper Tim Johnstone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Prospero Matia. In the 77th minute of the match, Mariano Sidro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tim Johnstone saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Prospero Matia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tim Johnstone came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Corralito AFC's Prospero Matia. But to his dismay, Prospero Matia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Danilo Derwin hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Prospero Matia got free with Tim Johnstone in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amadeo Txindoki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tyrone Meehan, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
