Frode Brataas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miroslav Jankura in the 13th minute of the match. Rock Hard FC's Frode Brataas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivo Német in the 18th minute of play. Edvin van der Saar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Krister Rokne's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. After 24 played minutes Rock Hard FC got a freekick which was hit by Rikard Herdlevær. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomáš Javorčík in the 25th minute of play forced Rock Hard FC's goalkeeper Frode Brataas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Miroslav Jankura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 33 played minutes Rock Hard FC got a freekick which was hit by Krister Rokne. If Ivo Német had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tibor Slaninka got free with Frode Brataas in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frode Brataas acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 38th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gabriel Špaček. In the 39th match minute, Someliéri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miroslav Jankura to maneuver through the defense. The attack was good, but when Marius Vaage in the 42nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Edvin van der Saar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marius Vaage in the 43rd minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Frode Brataas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomáš Javorčík, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Someliéri's goalkeeper Edvin van der Saar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christian Bergesen. After 63 minutes Someliéri's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Andreas Husebø who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Someliéri's goalie and right to Espen Eriksen. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Someliéri's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 63rd minute, Espen Eriksen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tibor Slaninka in the 65th minute of play forced Rock Hard FC's goalkeeper Frode Brataas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andreas Husebø's late challenge caught a Someliéri's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andreas Husebø helped the player get up and apologised. After 66 played minutes Rock Hard FC got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Husebø. Frode Brataas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Cifra in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of Someliéri booed when Rock Hard FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Åsmund Sørby didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute Ivo Német shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frode Brataas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christian Bergesen got free with Edvin van der Saar in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 84 minutes, Åsmund Sørby mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rock Hard FC and the Someliéri players grew even worse after the yellow card. Åsmund Sørby hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the match, Someliéri's goal looked a bit too open when Espen Eriksen came free, but Edvin van der Saar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
