Claudio Aznar made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Hasta Alfonso sent off a good shot on target. Mariano Canal made in the 15th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Josu Pabon immediately put the ball in play. After some careless play in the Glentown FC defense, Andrei Gil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olov Ahlquist. The Glentown FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olov Ahlquist should have stopped the shot. Claudio Aznar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hasta Alfonso in the 19th minute of play. Josu Pabon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olov Ahlquist having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Ralf Fransson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claudio Aznar. Club Deportivo O IRIXO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ralf Fransson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 30th minute, Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Antonio Recio seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Antonio Recio the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Club Deportivo O IRIXO protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Antonio Recio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Club Deportivo O IRIXO! In the 32nd minute Glentown FC were awarded a corner. Hasta Alfonso went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 33rd minute, Amador Rivas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ralf Fransson hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo O IRIXO's goalkeeper Claudio Aznar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hasta Alfonso. Tom Lindholm's late challenge caught a Club Deportivo O IRIXO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralf Fransson in the 52nd minute of play forced Club Deportivo O IRIXO's goalkeeper Claudio Aznar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudio Aznar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hasta Alfonso's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Claudio Aznar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralf Fransson, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 66th minute Hasta Alfonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Aznar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Glentown FC were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Club Deportivo O IRIXO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anton Axelsson took the corner. Andrei Gil tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Claudio Aznar. An unnecessary self made goal, 4-1 in the 91st minute. A throw-in in the 95th minute of the game was made by Mariano Canal with Josu Pabon as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Glentown FC had won after a very even match.
