Alejo Gurutz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Walter Fransson made a huge save. When Leo Ochoa came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Trinidad 4.7 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Ochoa couldn't finish the play. If Alejo Gurutz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Fire Devils booed when Trinidad 4.7 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desiderio Ixona didn't get a good kick on the ball. Danilo Heli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andy Vincent in the 20th minute of the match. Danilo Heli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francis Aberle, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Percy Paterson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Leo Ochoa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trinidad 4.7's supporters rose to their feet, but Leo Ochoa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walter Fransson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fire Devils's Walter Fransson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Ochoa in the 39th minute of play. When Percy Paterson fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fire Devils's protests and gave Percy Paterson a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Fire Devils's Percy Paterson got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leo Ochoa was the one to do the kick off. Leo Ochoa succeeded in the game's 56th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. When Celestino Basualdo came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Trinidad 4.7 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celestino Basualdo couldn't finish the play. 60 minutes into the match, Leo Ochoa notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Fire Devils's Walter Fransson. Walter Fransson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 63rd minute, Leo Ochoa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walter Fransson was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Celestino Basualdo kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Alejo Gurutz hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Danilo Heli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andy Vincent, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fire Devils's Nikita Bolla was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Danilo Heli in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Leo Ochoa hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. When Percy Paterson was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 87 minutes had been played. After 88 played minutes Fire Devils got a freekick which was hit by Percy Paterson. Walter Fransson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejo Gurutz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the game, Alejo Gurutz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Walter Fransson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
