Nikki Elin kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Project X's Simon Bergsten proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Project X from getting a goal against them. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andy Vincent made a kick off. Pius Gruenenfelder kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 57th minute Nikki Elin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Fransson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fire Devils's Walter Fransson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Johan Utfal in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andy Vincent in the 82nd minute of play forced Project X's goalkeeper Simon Bergsten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fire Devils's Walter Fransson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sten Lund in the 84th minute of play. Walter Fransson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sten Lund in the 92nd minute of play. If Nikki Elin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Project X could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Fire Devils throughout the match.
