The Várdomb fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roch Dudkowski should have stopped the shot. Ricardinho Moreira made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Rómeó Szakály sent off a good shot on target. Ricardinho Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lajos Kossuth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Lajos Kossuth sped through Dragões de Campo Grande's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ricardinho Moreira. The Várdomb fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Várdomb had played much better football throughout.
