Unax Valdovinos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Bergo having to interfere. Lars Bergo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marquez Uncal, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Jimmy Cimas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the game, Sondre Lillegård was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Nerd Herd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UD ZAS the free kick. In the 16th minute, Sondre Lillegård hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the game, The Nerd Herd's Marian Banas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rey Cerezuela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Rey Cerezuela made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Sondre Lillegård sent off a good shot on target. UD ZAS's Rey Cerezuela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marian Banas in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st match minute, The Nerd Herd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sondre Lillegård to maneuver through the defense. Ken Teige kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sondre Lillegård stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind UD ZAS's goalkeeper Rey Cerezuela, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the UD ZAS defense, Marian Banas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rey Cerezuela. The UD ZAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rey Cerezuela should have stopped the shot. UD ZAS's Rey Cerezuela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sondre Lillegård in the 61st minute of play. Rey Cerezuela didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marian Banas went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Banas in the 75th minute of play forced UD ZAS's goalkeeper Rey Cerezuela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by William Bucaran during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, UD ZAS's William Bucaran got a free kick in the 76th minute. Rey Cerezuela stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marian Banas's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Sondre Lillegård had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rey Cerezuela. UD ZAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sondre Lillegård was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Marian Banas sped through UD ZAS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rey Cerezuela. The supporters of UD ZAS booed when The Nerd Herd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ole-Einar Indergård didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 88 played minutes The Nerd Herd got a freekick which was hit by Sondre Lillegård. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Marian Banas sped through UD ZAS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rey Cerezuela. The Nerd Herd's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
