The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mattæus Bøtner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justin Rennes in the 3rd minute of play. If Jørgen Ebler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jørgen Ebler in the 13th minute of play forced TeamGurre's goalkeeper Jaspar Bøjgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaspar Bøjgren was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Jørgen Ebler capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jørgen Ebler really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Jaspar Bøjgren came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Skellerup FC's Josef Belhøj. But to his dismay, Josef Belhøj quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Waldemar Marqweis kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. If Kaj Brunshøj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kaj Brunshøj's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mattæus Bøtner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. After having played for 37 minutes, Jørgen Ebler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skellerup FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jørgen Ebler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 44 minutes, Josef Belhøj managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TeamGurre's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skellerup FC the free kick. A collision led to TeamGurre getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. In the 78th minute, Jørgen Ebler made a precise shot to the right of Jaspar Bøjgren. TeamGurre's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Jaspar Bøjgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Wittenfeldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Harald Lundsgaardvig hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Skellerup FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
