In the 2nd minute, Jimmy Coulter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. team pollen's Dagfinn Rørstad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Hess in the 8th minute of play. When Anselmo Jaen came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the team pollen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Jaen couldn't finish the play. A collision led to team pollen getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Trym Jønsson hit a great ball. Placido Stephen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dagfinn Rørstad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmy Coulter, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Hess in the 28th minute of play forced team pollen's goalkeeper Dagfinn Rørstad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Reyes Ritter made a precise shot to the right of Dagfinn Rørstad. team pollen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 45 played minutes team pollen got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Jaen. When İlyas Orgun fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored team pollen's protests and gave İlyas Orgun a yellow card for diving instead. Santos FC's Darryl Pollard was substituted for Rodrick Orlinsky. After a rather tough play, team pollen's İlyas Orgun got a free kick in the 48th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

If Tore Solås had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Placido Stephen kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Jim Mitchell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tore Solås in the 57th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Santos FC's Victor Hess got a free kick in the 60th minute. Jim Mitchell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Kenneth Holm in the 61st minute of play. İlyas Orgun scored 1-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jim Mitchell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. team pollen's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Giuseppe Jewell scored to the left of an out of position Dagfinn Rørstad, making the score, 1-2. In the 77th minute, Darryl Pollard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute, İlyas Orgun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Santos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Jaen came free, but Jim Mitchell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute İlyas Orgun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jim Mitchell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 95 minutes into the game, when Trym Jønsson put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, team pollen's Trym Jønsson got a free kick in the 95th minute. In the 97th minute, Santos FC's Reyes Ritter dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. The Santos FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
