In the 11th minute, Mikael Karlsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Hernandez struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Roy Finsberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletas Campesinos F.C.. 13 minutes into the game, Adolfo Galindo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Roy Finsberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Örsjö defense, Adolfo Galindo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roy Finsberg. The Örsjö fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roy Finsberg should have stopped the shot. Conrado Mouricio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roy Finsberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remigio Handi in the 30th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Luís Hernandez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roy Finsberg. Örsjö's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luís Hernandez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Knut Biörkman made a kick off. Luís Hernandez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 50th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gustaf Ståhlman charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustaf Ståhlman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Örsjö's Gustaf Ståhlman got a free kick in the 53rd minute. When Pepe Burris fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s protests and gave Pepe Burris a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Atletas Campesinos F.C. getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Pepe Burris hit a great ball. When Ma Jian Hai fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s protests and gave Ma Jian Hai a yellow card for diving instead. 57 minutes into the game, one of Atletas Campesinos F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 58th minute, Knut Biörkman made a precise shot to the right of Paulo Rosio. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Örsjö's Roy Finsberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Örsjö from getting a goal against them. Stig-Ove Åkerström charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 70 played minutes Atletas Campesinos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Galindo. In the 73rd minute, Remigio Handi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roy Finsberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. A collision led to Atletas Campesinos F.C. getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Adolfo Galindo hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvestre Gonzo got free with Roy Finsberg in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Örsjö's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Conrado Mouricio was slow to take the kick. During this time Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Adolfo Galindo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Roy Finsberg in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
