Galip Öveç came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by AC Roma's Fabio Cirelli. But to his dismay, Fabio Cirelli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Galip Öveç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Barresi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute Aurelio Barresi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Galip Öveç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Galip Öveç didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurelio Barresi went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. AC Roma's Felice Fantozzi pulled a muscle in his leg after 21 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 22 minutes, Benicio Misael mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rincón de los Sauces AFC and the AC Roma players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st minute, one of Rincón de los Sauces AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rincón de los Sauces AFC. Carlo Cirone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Ortzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Galip Öveç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Cirelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Claudio Jerold managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rincón de los Sauces AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudio Jerold was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlo Cirone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 41 played minutes AC Roma got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Cerasoli. In the 46th minute Aurelio Barresi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Galip Öveç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carmelo Ortzi made a kick off. Rincón de los Sauces AFC's Carmelo Ortzi got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabio Cirelli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Galip Öveç made a huge save. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rincón de los Sauces AFC's goalkeeper Galip Öveç, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Galip Öveç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Barresi in the 57th minute of play. 60 minutes into the game, Antonio Cerasoli recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Galip Öveç. Antonio Cerasoli showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. After 66 played minutes Aurelio Barresi rounded Rincón de los Sauces AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-6. Galip Öveç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Barresi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Galip Öveç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Barresi in the 73rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Rincón de los Sauces AFC's Galip Öveç got control of the ball when Ciro Orlandi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Galip Öveç made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciro Orlandi in the 79th minute. Carlo Cirone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Ortzi in the 80th minute of play. Rincón de los Sauces AFC's Galip Öveç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Barresi in the 82nd minute of play. Ciro Orlandi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Galip Öveç read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Carmelo Ortzi hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Czeslaw Cisek in the 87th minute of play forced Rincón de los Sauces AFC's goalkeeper Galip Öveç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Galip Öveç made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciro Orlandi in the 90th minute. After 92 minutes of play, AC Roma's Fabio Cirelli made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Galip Öveç was left in no man's land by his defense there! Felice Tieri hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. AC Roma's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
