Baldomero Suarez had in the 29thth minute some difficulties stopping Rafael van Zeggeren's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Rafael van Zeggeren notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Lanús's Baldomero Suarez. Baldomero Suarez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Baldomero Suarez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jiang Zhi Ling in the 67th minute of play. After 69 minutes, Rafael van Zeggeren made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Lanús's Baldomero Suarez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Lanús's zone, Erben Medgyesi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldomero Suarez came out of the goal and Erben Medgyesi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Michaelo Koole received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Baldomero Suarez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baldomero Suarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael van Zeggeren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led FFC Merainies 03's Youri Bemmel to fire away a dangerous shot which Baldomero Suarez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 93rd minute, one of Lanús:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lanús. The referee gave FFC Merainies 03 a penalty, 94 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rafael van Zeggeren, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lanús's Baldomero Suarez. 5-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FFC Merainies 03 had played much better football throughout.
