When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Ricardo Amorim took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ben Jaddon to make any attempt to save it. FC Ouagadougou National were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after BANDOLEIROS osasco's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Karl Roeckeloos took the corner. After 10 minutes, Leandro Zaga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BANDOLEIROS osasco and the FC Ouagadougou National players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th match minute, BANDOLEIROS osasco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Zaga to maneuver through the defense. BANDOLEIROS osasco's Clóvis Sergipano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Issa Bado in the 11th minute of play. When Christiaan Van Laer fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Ouagadougou National's protests and gave Christiaan Van Laer a yellow card for diving instead. Christiaan Van Laer kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. The supporters of BANDOLEIROS osasco booed when FC Ouagadougou National was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavian Smidts didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 25 played minutes BANDOLEIROS osasco got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Zaga. Leandro Zaga got his second yellow card in the match during the 28th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 28th match minute, BANDOLEIROS osasco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Zaga to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Giuseppe Queirós during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 30 played minutes BANDOLEIROS osasco got a freekick which was hit by Giuseppe Queirós. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Issa Bado in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clóvis Sergipano saved BANDOLEIROS osasco from getting behind. Ben Jaddon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horácio Pires in the 36th minute of the match. Ben Jaddon was a little too slow when Amílton Andrade got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 44th match minute, BANDOLEIROS osasco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Amorim to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Ouagadougou National's goalkeeper Ben Jaddon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Horácio Pires stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jeremie Sterkx made in the 54th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Karl Roeckeloos however managed to control. BANDOLEIROS osasco's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Issa Bado scored to the left of an out of position Clóvis Sergipano, making the score, 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Issa Bado in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clóvis Sergipano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 71st match minute, FC Ouagadougou National was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Vrijdags to maneuver through the defense. Clóvis Sergipano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Issa Bado, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. FC Ouagadougou National were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after BANDOLEIROS osasco's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Karl Roeckeloos took the corner. Bill Van den Haute hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Ricardo Amorim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ben Jaddon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. BANDOLEIROS osasco walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
