After 7 minutes of play, Xentrias's Sydney Gonçalves made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diederick Van den Plas was left in no man's land by his defense there! 10 minutes into the game, Xentrias's Jarl Vallengren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diederick Van den Plas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Sydney Gonçalves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Diederick Van den Plas made a huge save. After some careless play in the Royal Antwerp F.C. defense, Sydney Gonçalves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diederick Van den Plas. The Royal Antwerp F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diederick Van den Plas should have stopped the shot. Diederick Van den Plas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sydney Gonçalves in the 17th minute of play. Diederick Van den Plas made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Jarl Vallengren sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sydney Gonçalves in the 30th minute of play forced Royal Antwerp F.C.'s goalkeeper Diederick Van den Plas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diederick Van den Plas made an important save on a dangerous shot by John Cena in the 31st minute. In the 34th minute, Xentrias's Sydney Gonçalves ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Diederick Van den Plas. Diederick Van den Plas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. Diederick Van den Plas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sydney Gonçalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Xentrias's Sydney Gonçalves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Diederick Van den Plas narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jarl Vallengren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Royal Antwerp F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Sydney Gonçalves came free, but Diederick Van den Plas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Sydney Gonçalves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diederick Van den Plas was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Reemy Van Goitsenhoven kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Royal Antwerp F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jussi Björling came free, but Diederick Van den Plas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 98 minutes into the game, Xentrias's Rickard Söderberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diederick Van den Plas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 13-0. There was no doubt that Xentrias were the better team. Xentrias's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
