David Pereira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sabin Năstase read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Grigore Bilașco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Inácio Quinaz was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. When David Pereira fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 50th match minute, Ribeirada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mário Gameiro to maneuver through the defense. 52 minutes into the match, Balaceanu UFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Rico came free, but Sabin Năstase reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute, Mats Stenman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 2-1 became the score in the 62nd minute when Jorge Rico elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Bogdan Bitang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jorge Rico struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Sabin Năstase didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ribeirada. In the 69th match minute, Ribeirada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Rico to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Grigore Bilașco got free with Inácio Quinaz in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. David Pereira was shown his second yellow card after 72 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Ribeirada's David Pereira got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 74th match minute, Ribeirada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Domingues to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the match, Balaceanu UFC's Mugurel Jder sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Inácio Quinaz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Jorge Rico got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sabin Năstase quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jorge Rico charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jorge Rico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 84 played minutes Ribeirada got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Rico. Inácio Quinaz made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Lucrețiu Lipoveanu sent off a good shot on target. The Ribeirada fans cheered their team off the field, for while Balaceanu UFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
