Club Atlético Magallanes's defense didn't have a chance, in the 5th minute, when Jorge Rico scored to the left of an out of position Leon Oliverio, making the score, 1-0. When Club Atlético Magallanes's Abelardo Intxixu in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ribeirada's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abelardo Intxixu in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Inácio Quinaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Club Atlético Magallanes's Leon Oliverio got control of the ball when Jorge Rico tried to sneak it across the goal line. Inácio Quinaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Intxixu in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute of the match, Mário Gameiro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Leon Oliverio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Inácio Quinaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeo Precioso in the 19th minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, Ribeirada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mário Gameiro to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Club Atlético Magallanes's Leon Oliverio got control of the ball when Jorge Rico tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27th minute Club Atlético Magallanes were awarded a corner. Braulio Breogan went to the cornerflag to take it. Jorge Rico who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Leon Oliverio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jorge Rico took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leon Oliverio. Leon Oliverio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. A collision led to Ribeirada getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Tarcísio Mendes hit a great ball. In the 37th minute of the match Braulio Breogan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Inácio Quinaz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A hard shot 38 in the game by Mário Gameiro from a close distance when the talented Leon Oliverio managed to make a qualified save. Club Atlético Magallanes's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Manoel Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Magallanes's supporters rose to their feet, but Manoel Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inácio Quinaz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leon Oliverio made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Jorge Rico sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, David Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ribeirada's supporters rose to their feet, but David Pereira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leon Oliverio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Taci Argün stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leon Oliverio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leon Oliverio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Rico in the 56th minute of play. Inácio Quinaz made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Taci Argün sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Pereira in the 58th minute of play forced Club Atlético Magallanes's goalkeeper Leon Oliverio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leon Oliverio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mats Stenman in the 59th minute of play. Leon Oliverio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Rico in the 73rd minute of play. After 74 played minutes Ribeirada got a freekick which was hit by David Pereira. Inácio Quinaz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Taci Argün showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 76 minute of play. Mats Stenman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Taci Argün received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Inácio Quinaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Magallanes defense, Jorge Rico kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leon Oliverio. The Club Atlético Magallanes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leon Oliverio should have stopped the shot. Club Atlético Magallanes's Leon Oliverio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Pereira in the 91st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Magallanes's Braulio Breogan got a free kick in the 91st minute. Ribeirada's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
