Vanja Milenković was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Stergios Michael showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Stergios Michael hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the game, KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Steven Vitoria nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dimosthenis Lakiotis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Dimosthenis Lakiotis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Slawomir Wojciechowski in the 18th minute of play. Stergios Michael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vanja Milenković having to interfere. Dimosthenis Lakiotis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elías Olsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Nassos Rigatos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Przemyslaw Frankowski in the 45th minute of play forced Empire of Soccer's goalkeeper Dimosthenis Lakiotis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Slawomir Wojciechowski to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elías Olsson got free with Dimosthenis Lakiotis in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 56 played minutes Empire of Soccer got a freekick which was hit by Iakobos Papoulis. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Slawomir Wojciechowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's supporters rose to their feet, but Slawomir Wojciechowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dimosthenis Lakiotis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elías Olssons short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Dimosthenis Lakiotis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 72nd minute Slawomir Wojciechowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimosthenis Lakiotis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dimosthenis Lakiotis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Slawomir Wojciechowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. The audience was convinced that Slawomir Wojciechowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dimosthenis Lakiotis was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. In the 82nd minute, KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Slawomir Wojciechowski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dimosthenis Lakiotis. Dimosthenis Lakiotis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. 93 minutes into the match, Empire of Soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Slawomir Wojciechowski came free, but Dimosthenis Lakiotis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Elías Olsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dimosthenis Lakiotis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A played a much better game than Empire of Soccer and deserved their victory. The Empire of Soccer players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
