The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Big Dickey in the 5th minute of play forced Grosso United's goalkeeper Saturnino Romo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th match minute, Grosso United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cayetano Gabirel to maneuver through the defense. Hawk Tuah FC's Henry Roos couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 9th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Grosso United. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reynaldo Pietro in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Holer Nolan saved Hawk Tuah FC from getting behind. Stig Gulliksson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Saturnino Romo made a huge save. A collision led to Hawk Tuah FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Triantafyllos í Lon Jacobsen hit a great ball. Saturnino Romo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Markus Vik, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 30thth minute of the game Júlio Castro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hawk Tuah FC's Holer Nolan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 31st minute Grosso United were awarded a corner. Cayetano Gabirel went to the cornerflag to take it. Cayetano Gabirel made a great header on Grosso United's corner, it was just that Hawk Tuah FC's Holer Nolan managed to reach the ball for a save. 1-0 became the score in the 37th minute when Big Dickey elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Saturnino Romo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markus Vik in the 43rd minute of play. Saturnino Romo made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Triantafyllos í Lon Jacobsen sent off a good shot on target. In the 46th minute, Big Dickey reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Saturnino Romo. The goal made the score 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Big Dickey stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Saturnino Romo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig Gulliksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Hawk Tuah FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Henry Roos in the 58th minute. The corner ended in Henry Roos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Grosso United's Saturnino Romo did a great save. Saturnino Romo came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Hawk Tuah FC's Stig Gulliksson. But to his dismay, Stig Gulliksson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 68th minute, Stig Gulliksson made a precise shot to the right of Saturnino Romo. Grosso United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Saturnino Romo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Big Dickey in the 71st minute of the match. Saturnino Romo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig Gulliksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 75 minutes, Rigoberto Boniel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grosso United and the Hawk Tuah FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 75 played minutes Grosso United got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Boniel. After a rather tough play, Grosso United's Rigoberto Boniel got a free kick in the 76th minute. Virgilio Quin kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Holer Nolan was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Åke Abelsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Åke Abelsson really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. In the 86th minute Big Dickey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saturnino Romo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Grosso United defense, Hubert Ahlquist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Saturnino Romo. The Grosso United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saturnino Romo should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Big Dickey in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saturnino Romo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hawk Tuah FC's Holer Nolan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Hawk Tuah FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hubert Ahlquist in the 96th minute of play forced Grosso United's goalkeeper Saturnino Romo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Hawk Tuah FC had played much better football throughout.
