An unexpectedly hard shot by Anti Sina in the 39th minute of play forced GoalHunters's goalkeeper Daniel Jienescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the game, Călin Pătrășconiu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Aaron Karlstedt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Călin Pătrășconiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgardo Tauro to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Jerrold came free, but Aaron Karlstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 52 minutes of play, GoalHunters's Octav Stoicescu made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aaron Karlstedt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anti Sina was slow to take the kick. During this time CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Anti Sina got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Daniel Jienescu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The GoalHunters fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when GoalHunters's Pedro Jerrold looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 73rdth minute of the game Pedro Jerrold who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's Aaron Karlstedt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 75 minutes into the match, CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's goal looked a bit too open when Darius Plop came free, but Aaron Karlstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GoalHunters:s Daniel Jienescu showed great skill when he stopped Anti Sina:s penalty. In the 97th minute, Anti Sina made a precise shot to the right of Daniel Jienescu. GoalHunters's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-1. GoalHunters's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
