After a defensive mix-up in Pabing SV's zone, Eduardo Camavinga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hannes Schmielau came out of the goal and Eduardo Camavinga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Pabing SV booed when S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Camavinga didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Pabing SV getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Jan-Moritz Sellmer hit a great ball. Thomas Ravelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremiah St. Juste in the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Muharrem Beyhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jan-Moritz Sellmer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Thomas Ravelli made a huge save. Hannes Schmielau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Onur Ali Batıhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andi Metzler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Thomas Ravelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Andi Metzler kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Thomas Ravelli. That made the score 1-0 in the 32 minute of play. After a rather tough play, S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r's Angelo Larralde got a free kick in the 36th minute. Jan-Moritz Sellmer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thomas Ravelli having to make a save. In the 46th minute, Jeremiah St. Juste got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 47 played minutes S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Camavinga. After recieving a nice pass, Pabing SV's Hendrik Heimann tried to score from far away in the 48th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r's Thomas Ravelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Nazar in the 52nd minute of play. Hannes Schmielau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yavuz Bülent İlkim in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55thth minute of the game Andi Metzler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r's Thomas Ravelli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Moritz Sellmer in the 58th minute of play forced S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r's goalkeeper Thomas Ravelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Wang Rong Jing reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hannes Schmielau. The goal made the score 1-1. Yavuz Bülent İlkim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hannes Schmielau having to interfere. In the 73rd minute Andi Metzler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Ravelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thomas Ravelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Moritz Sellmer in the 75th minute of the match. When Pabing SV's Jan-Moritz Sellmer in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r's goalie prevented a goal.
