Desiderio Lauaxeta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Åkesson in the 8th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Cordareo in the 14th minute of play forced Kit Kat FC's goalkeeper Omar Motta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Omar Motta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwyn Lawson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Desiderio Lauaxeta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Eduardo Dantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Justo Lore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Motta having to interfere. Omar Motta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gwyn Lawson's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Kit Kat FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guillermo Sal came free, but Omar Motta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Cordareo in the 25th minute of play forced Kit Kat FC's goalkeeper Omar Motta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Omar Motta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Cordareo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 27 minutes of play, Tigre's Sergio Cordareo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Omar Motta was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 37th minute, Iker Chan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the last second Desiderio Lauaxeta throw himself and got hold of the ball when Carlos Eduardo Dantas in the 39thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After having played for 41 minutes, Justo Lore managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tigre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Justo Lore was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Carlos Eduardo Dantas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Desiderio Lauaxeta. That made the score 1-1 in the 43 minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gwyn Lawson to make the kick off. After 51 minutes, Justo Lore made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Kit Kat FC's Omar Motta tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tigre's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sergio Cordareo in the 55th minute. Tigre's Sergio Cordareo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Omar Motta in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience was convinced that Gwyn Lawson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Omar Motta was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. A collision led to Kit Kat FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Ramiro Lima hit a great ball. If Carlos Eduardo Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute of the match Davi Queiroz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Desiderio Lauaxeta showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Kit Kat FC's Omar Motta got control of the ball when Sergio Cordareo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Desiderio Lauaxeta came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Kit Kat FC's Carlos Eduardo Dantas. But to his dismay, Carlos Eduardo Dantas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Eduardo Dantas in the 69th minute of play forced Tigre's goalkeeper Desiderio Lauaxeta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Omar Motta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Aparecido in the 70th minute of play. The supporters of Tigre booed when Kit Kat FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Michael Bäckström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tigre's Masao Koriotto got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Kit Kat FC booed when Tigre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeo Oriche didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Kit Kat FC's Pedro Donatello tried to score from far away in the 92nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
