Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Curicó-Unido's Osasun Leys started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henry Åkesson in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Lameirinhas saved Curicó-Unido from getting behind. 7 minutes into the match, Curicó-Unido's goal looked a bit too open when Remicio Bueno came free, but Manuel Lameirinhas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remicio Bueno in the 7th minute of play forced Curicó-Unido's goalkeeper Manuel Lameirinhas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Lameirinhas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remicio Bueno in the 8th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Osasun Leys in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patricio Toledo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute Gaspar Peseiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Lameirinhas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th match minute, Curicó-Unido was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Linhares to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, Curicó-Unido's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Åkesson came free, but Manuel Lameirinhas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Curicó-Unido's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Peseiro came free, but Manuel Lameirinhas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cabildo FC's Patricio Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osasun Leys in the 36th minute of play. Manuel Lameirinhas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Peseiro in the 37th minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Gaspar Peseiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Manuel Lameirinhas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henry Åkesson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Patricio Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osasun Leys in the 55th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henry Åkesson got free with Manuel Lameirinhas in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 58th minute Gaspar Peseiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Lameirinhas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61stth minute of the game Gaspar Peseiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curicó-Unido's Manuel Lameirinhas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Curicó-Unido's goalkeeper Manuel Lameirinhas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henry Åkesson. Tor Clavijo kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Cabildo FC's Constancio Binder was substituted for Gaspar Peseiro. Curicó-Unido made a substitution. Hipolito Angeloni replaced Eduardo Vargas. Curicó-Unido's Juan Raúl Falcón was substituted for Visen Mattensohn. The supporters of Curicó-Unido booed when Cabildo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tor Clavijo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patricio Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hipolito Angeloni, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Manuel Lameirinhas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henry Åkesson in the 85th minute. Henry Åkesson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Lameirinhas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Curicó-Unido's Manuel Lameirinhas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constancio Binder in the 91st minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Curicó-Unido's goal looked a bit too open when Constancio Binder came free, but Manuel Lameirinhas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cabildo FC played a much better game than Curicó-Unido and deserved their victory. The Curicó-Unido players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
