Manuel Lameirinhas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Manuel Lameirinhas was a little too slow when Pedrinho Paranaense got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 2-0. After 11 minutes of play, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Florian Capasso made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manuel Lameirinhas was left in no man's land by his defense there! 15 minutes into the match, Eduardo Vargas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauro-Facundo Buffon. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eduardo Vargas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Eduardo Vargas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Mauro-Facundo Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mauro-Facundo Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osasun Leys in the 22nd minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Pedrinho Paranaense nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manuel Lameirinhas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Marcinho Sabóia got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Osasun Leys came free, but Mauro-Facundo Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Osasun Leys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Merusca F&P - CIMZ getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Pedrinho Paranaense hit a great ball. Mauro-Facundo Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osasun Leys, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Fellipe Capixaba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Osasun Leys to strike the kick off in the second half. Manuel Lameirinhas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcinho Sabóia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 50 minutes into the match, Marcinho Sabóia notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Curicó-Unido's Manuel Lameirinhas. Manuel Lameirinhas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 54th minute Osasun Leys shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro-Facundo Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Florian Capasso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manuel Lameirinhas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fábio Trevisan hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After 70 minutes of play, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Marcinho Sabóia made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manuel Lameirinhas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Curicó-Unido's Juan Raúl Falcón was substituted for Visen Mattensohn. Merusca F&P - CIMZ made a substitution. Geovani Mangueira replaced Anderson Vidal. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Hélder Fonseca was substituted for Florian Capasso. Curicó-Unido's Hipolito Angeloni was substituted for Eduardo Vargas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélder Fonseca in the 77th minute of play forced Curicó-Unido's goalkeeper Manuel Lameirinhas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Hélder Fonseca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manuel Lameirinhas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 91 minutes into the game, Román Hoefler cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-2. Mauro-Facundo Buffon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 95 played minutes Merusca F&P - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Fellipe Capixaba. Curicó-Unido's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
