Project X's Simon Bergsten proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Project X from getting a goal against them. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Project X's goalkeeper Simon Bergsten, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tim Holmgren hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After 14 minutes Project X's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Julio-César Romo-Leroux who took care of the corner kick. Simon Bergsten came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by MEXACOMX's Ricardo Guerra. But to his dismay, Ricardo Guerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. With a little luck, Project X's Simon Bergsten got control of the ball when Ricardo Guerra tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Ricardo Guerra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MEXACOMX fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 36 minutes into the game, one of Project X:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 38 minutes into the game, Giannis Kouretzis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Simon Bergsten was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A hard shot 41 in the game by Ricardo Guerra from a close distance when the talented Simon Bergsten managed to make a qualified save. Project X's players were relieved. If Wu Liang Mo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jerzy Piechna made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Project X's Tim Holmgren got a free kick in the 56th minute. Ingmar Törnblom's late challenge caught a MEXACOMX's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simon Bergsten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Guerra in the 66th minute of the match. Ricardo Guerra took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Simon Bergsten. Simon Bergsten dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Project X made a substitution. John Gallagher replaced Nikki Elin. In the 71stth minute of the game Ricardo Guerra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Project X's Simon Bergsten was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simon Bergsten prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tim Holmgren during the 76th minute. Simon Bergsten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Guerra in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Guerra in the 84th minute of play forced Project X's goalkeeper Simon Bergsten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Januário Rangel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jerzy Piechna's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Project X's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Guerra came free, but Simon Bergsten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MEXACOMX made a substitution. Fryderyk Gierlach replaced Cláudio Leite. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. MEXACOMX had won after a very even match.
