Spectators: 166 (Terracing: 125, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) Axel Ree started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Axel Ree's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Simon Bergsten read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Monks in Robes's corner Fidel Havier fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Simon Bergsten quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Project X's Tim Holmgren got a free kick in the 12th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Axel Ree managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monks in Robes's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Ree was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simon Bergsten breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute, Axel Ree ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Simon Bergsten was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Axel Ree had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Karl-Åke Giliusson kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Project X's Simon Bergsten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albinus Alking in the 24th minute of play. After 25 minutes Project X's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fidel Havier who took care of the corner kick. Wasyl Galaska was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Ingvar Malmberg's late challenge caught a Monks in Robes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ingvar Malmberg helped the player get up and apologised. With an all-out effort, Project X's Kristen Gulskov threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ingvar Malmberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albinus Alking in the 34th minute of play forced Project X's goalkeeper Simon Bergsten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerzy Piechna in the 35th minute of play forced Monks in Robes's goalkeeper Kristen Gulskov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36thth minute of the game Jerzy Piechna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Monks in Robes's Kristen Gulskov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Monks in Robes's Júlio de Lara got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Project X's goalkeeper Simon Bergsten, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Tim Holmgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the match, Project X's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Ree came free, but Simon Bergsten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jerzy Piechna to make the kick off. Simon Bergsten made a fantastic save in the 50th minute, when Axel Ree sent off a good shot on target. In the 51st minute of the match Monks in Robes got a corner. Project X's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Ree ran over to the corner to take the kick. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Project X's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Axel Ree was slow to take the kick. During this time Monks in Robes's players had a chance to rest. Axel Ree sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kristen Gulskov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rio Newton in the 57th minute of the match. Axel Ree recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Axel Ree dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Simon Bergsten, 0-3. 63 minutes into the game, Monks in Robes's Axel Ree nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Simon Bergsten made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. 69 minutes into the match, Monks in Robes's Axel Ree sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Simon Bergsten narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 70th minute Monks in Robes were awarded a corner. Axel Ree went to the cornerflag to take it. Simon Bergsten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Ree, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stig Johnsson's late challenge caught a Monks in Robes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stig Johnsson helped the player get up and apologised. Stig Johnsson kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Project X's goalkeeper Simon Bergsten had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rikki Askhim. Simon Bergsten came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Monks in Robes's Axel Ree. But to his dismay, Axel Ree quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Project X's Simon Bergsten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Ree in the 81st minute of play. Axel Ree blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Simon Bergsten having to make a save. Axel Ree who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Simon Bergsten when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Axel Rees short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Simon Bergsten to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The Monks in Robes supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Monks in Robes would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
