Folke Bure came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Monks in Robes's Axel Ree. But to his dismay, Axel Ree quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Ahlbeck in the 14th minute of play forced Monks in Robes's goalkeeper Kristen Gulskov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Monks in Robes's goalkeeper Kristen Gulskov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michael Ahlbeck. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Ree in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Folke Bure saved North Pole Kickers from getting behind. Folke Bure took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Ree, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Folke Bure made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Ree in the 28th minute of play. If Axel Ree had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 29 minutes into the match, North Pole Kickers's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Ree came free, but Folke Bure reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, North Pole Kickers's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Ree came free, but Folke Bure reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Folke Bure stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Ree's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Axel Ree notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of North Pole Kickers's Folke Bure. Folke Bure was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to North Pole Kickers getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Benedykt Niezywy hit a great ball. Axel Ree struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Folke Bure didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monks in Robes. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valdemar Tomasson was the one to do the kick off. North Pole Kickers's Folke Bure proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save North Pole Kickers from getting a goal against them. Axel Ree scored 0-3 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Folke Bure, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Michael Ahlbeck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the North Pole Kickers defense, Axel Ree kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Folke Bure. The North Pole Kickers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Folke Bure should have stopped the shot. Folke Bure came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Monks in Robes's Axel Ree. The North Pole Kickers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Folke Bure should have stopped the shot. 73 minutes into the match, Monks in Robes's Axel Ree sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Folke Bure narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Monks in Robes's Axel Ree ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Folke Bure. Folke Bure yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. Kristen Gulskov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Ahlbeck, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Monks in Robes's Axel Ree got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the North Pole Kickers defense, Axel Ree kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Folke Bure. The North Pole Kickers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Folke Bure should have stopped the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Monks in Robes walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
