Camilo Salvidor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Merrill Pryor, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute, Gabriele Batistuta made a precise shot to the right of Filiph Hägg. Aston Villa FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After some careless play in the Aston Villa FC defense, Gabriele Batistuta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filiph Hägg. The Aston Villa FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filiph Hägg should have stopped the shot.

With a little luck, Aston Villa FC's Filiph Hägg got control of the ball when Primitivo Rocendo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Menchu FC's Camilo Salvidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Merrill Pryor in the 81st minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Menchu FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
